In these fruitful 15 years we have had 146 graduates from more than 33 countries around the world. These students have different backgrounds and are graduated in Medicine, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or Biochemistry.

The main objective of the International Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences is to provide updated knowledge about molecular medicine to professionals graduated from biomedical careers initiated in scientific research or the exercise of the profession in human clinic, in an environment of collaboration and international complementation, involving the universities of Buenos Aires and Freiburg.

BINATIONAL DOUBLE MASTER

From class 2018-2020 onwards, students who graduate are granted two Master Degrees: a Master Degree of Universidad de Buenos Aires and another one of the University of Freiburg.

Get to Know Us

Through REREC-2021-1628-E-UBA-REC, the Doctorate of the University of Buenos Aires, dependent on the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry and the Faculty of Medicine, was approved, which will be developed in agreement with the University of Freiburg.

 

The objectives of this Doctorate consist of training students in the scientific method, specializing them in the area of Biomedicine and providing them with the skills and abilities to participate in advanced study and scientific research. In addition, it will allow students to enrich their training with an intercultural and international experience.

After successful completion of this joint degree PhD program you will receive two doctoral degrees of each university: A doctor of the University of Buenos Aires from UBA (Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry or Medicine) and either a Dr. rer. nat. of the Faculty of Biology or Faculty of Engineering, a Dr. Ing of the Faculty of Engineering or a Dr. sc. hum of the Faculty of Medicine from ALU.
